I made this painting in early 2018.  The immediate cause was the news that the artist Ed Moses passed away at the age of 92 which in turn resulted in my discovery of his oeuvre.

Here is a great tribute to this remarkable artist.

Today it reminds me of the early days of my artistic experiments. 

After I had been painting nothing but circles for quite some time , a diagonal pattern was the first thing that came to my mind when I first started spraying lines and for some strange reason I decided to make a tryptich out of it.
