This work is inspired by 'Composition with Grey Lines', a lozenge shaped painting by Piet Mondriaan from 1918.

Although the applied technique is basically the same as the one I use for all my paintings, the result looks rather unusual. The main feature of this work is that the canvas seems to be in relief and appears slightly 3-dimensional while it is perfectly flat.
