This work is a blend of two paintings by Carmen Herrera, one of my all time favourite artists . As I am writing this text she is still alive at the respectable age of 105 years. (just follow the link if you want to learn more about this spirited old lady)

It is rather unusual to find images of paintings captured from aside which is why it instantly struck me when I first saw it. The video below shows how I merged two of her paintings into one and how I altered the colors into a somewhat funky adaptation. Needless to mention that I also took the side of the painting into account in the implementation.
